The Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan holds the record for most snow in a single winter with a staggering 390.4 inches of snowfall recorded in the American Midwest during the 1978-1979 season. This high snowfall is primarily due to its location, which receives significant amounts of lake-effect snow from Lake Superior, creating heavy snowfall conditions on the peninsula. The peninsula's topography, with its hilly terrain, further enhances the lake-effect snowfall by lifting moisture-laden air.  Every winter thousands of skiers and snowborders flock the peninsula in pursuit of that perfect powder moment when the Lake Superior lake effect turns on.  Some even compare the experience to snow riding in Japan, high quality blower snow in rolling deciduous dominated forests without the price of international airfare!

Featuring lightweight, breathable fabric made from 100% Airlume cotton (White, Black, Asphalt & Army), as well as 90% cotton and 10% polyester (Heather Navy). This unisex tee is ethically manufactured with a focus on sustainability.
